KSN is well respected both locally, and in Sacramento, for its ability to rapidly work out difficult regulatory issues with State and Federal permitting agencies. KSN has successfully secured permits for the construction of a wide variety of Central Valley projects from the US Army Corps of Engineers, the California Department of Fish and Game, the California Department of Water Resources Division of Water Quality, the Central Valley Flood Protection Board and various local agencies. KSN also has extensive experience in the coordination and administration of a variety of State and Federal grant and loan programs.
KSN has an excellent rapport with the engineering and surveying staff of the California Department of Transportation, District 10. KSN is well versed in the delivery of surveying, mapping, right of way engineering, drainage designs and storm water quality designs compliant with CalTrans guidelines and criteria. KSN has successfully provided the topographic mapping and right of way engineering, including the approval of ABC mapping submittals and appraisal mapping, for some of the largest recent transportation projects in District 10.
